Arabian Access Solutions was formed in January 2009 to provide freelance project management services to the offshore Oil and Gas Industry and to shipyards, which focus on the construction and maintenance of offshore oilrigs and modules. The founders and managers of the company have extensive experience gained whilst working within those industries. A lack of knowledge in the Middle East Region was identified in the use of Rope Access and Hydro Blasting disciplines both of which are used extensively and successfully within the Oil and Gas Industry across the world. Arabian Access Solutions’ particular strengths reside in both these methods, which are used to provide safe and effective solutions for many projects.

Arabian Access Solutions seeks to close the knowledge and utilisation gaps between Rope Access and Hydro Blasting companies and the Oil and Gas industry in the Middle East Region.

Since the formation of the company we have completed a number of projects as well as adapting our skills and knowledge to assist in other industries such as Construction, and Desalinisation and Power Plants.

Major projects include:

• Tube Bundle and Tank Cleaning for Ras Al Khaimah Gas;
• Pipe Cleaning for Fujairah Refinery;
Internal Pipe Surveys for Ras Al Khaimah Petroleum using our push rod camera system;
• Refurbishment of the fire-damaged arch at The Atlantis Hotel in Dubai using both Rope Access and modified Hydro Blasting equipment;
• Refurbishment of the Seawater Tunnel at the Barka Desalination Plant in Oman involving the removal of damaged paint with high-pressure water and preparing concrete surfaces for recoating.

Arabian Access Solutions are currently involved in the removal of aggregate using a high pressure air-driven vacuum system for filters at the Barka Desalination Plant in Oman. Going forward, future projects due to start include internal cleaning and passivating oil storage tanks in Saudi Arabia, and the refurbishment of two drilling rigs in Sharjah and Oman both of which will use Rope Access and Hydro Blasting techniques.

Arabian Access Solutions have recently gained ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and are committed to supplying a professional and reliable service to its clientele as well as providing a safe environment for our own employees through good organisation and thorough training.
